Liminal (Luke 24) is a wood Roman arch with an LED ticker scroll sign hanging in the center that says on loop, "WHY DO YOU LOOK FOR THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD?". This is an excerpt from the Bible, an angel says this to Mary when she is looking for Jesus's body. This question is the liminal moment between Mary's mourning of Jesus's death and the realization of his resurrection. Outside of biblical context, this question serves as a philosophical pondering of things within our own existence that promise more "life" but actually offer their own form of "death".
